---Yorkshire Cross Country Championships , Lightwater Valley, Ripon. With Christmas  out of the way it is now the season of Cross Country Championships , beginning with the Yorkshire's and soon to be followed by the Northern's and culminating in the Nationals. Knavesmire's runners found plenty of races to attend over the festive period, here is a quick summary: -6.Dec - Gravy Pud Race. Neil Stabbs claimed 6th place at this Pennine fell race near Stalybridge . -20.Dec - Stoop Fell Race. We had a great turn on Haworth Moor for this fell race , where Santa Hats and fancy dress are almost obligatory. Weekend Round-up 3rd – 4th October .

Another busy weekend for members of York Knavesmire Harriers. -Many members were involved in the organisation and marshalling of the  Levisham Limping club run. They and those that ran were rewarded with lovely warm Autumnal weather  and a trip to a lovely part of the North Yorkshire Moors.
