Stefan Durkin was this weekend's star YKH runner taking victory at the Sutton Coldfield Adventure Unit 10k. Great to see one of the club's die hard members getting to the top of the podium. At the Berlin Marathon Stephen Maddison and Hannah Bryan both had fantastic results , completing the 26.2 miles in chip times of 2:43:49 and 3:31:01 respectively. Having tried tested and thoroughly enjoyed one of these events at Easter Liz and I just had to try running the Summer Series. Consisting of 4 self guided trail races through a real variety of countryside this series was a really fun summer training exercise. David Darton and Colin Lea have been travelling far and wide as they continue to seek out running adventures at home and abroad. Report by Giles Hawking The Borrowdale Race is one of the 'Classic' English Fell races, a 17 mile beast that climbs Englands highest mountain Scafell Pike 977m , followed by Great Gable 899m and Dalehead 753m.
