Another busy weekend for members of York Knavesmire Harriers. -Many members were involved in the organisation and marshalling of the Levisham Limping club run. They and those that ran were rewarded with lovely warm Autumnal weather and a trip to a lovely part of the North Yorkshire Moors. Stefan Durkin was this weekend's star YKH runner taking victory at the Sutton Coldfield Adventure Unit 10k. Great to see one of the club's die hard members getting to the top of the podium. At the Berlin Marathon Stephen Maddison and Hannah Bryan both had fantastic results , completing the 26.2 miles in chip times of 2:43:49 and 3:31:01 respectively. Having tried tested and thoroughly enjoyed one of these events at Easter Liz and I just had to try running the Summer Series. Consisting of 4 self guided trail races through a real variety of countryside this series was a really fun summer training exercise.
