---West Yorkshire Cross Country League - Nunroyd Park.Race number two in the league was held at an muddless  Nunroyd Park in Wakefield. We had a greater number of runners out this time and the Men's team saw a marked improvement. Knavesmire's Mens team of 9th Kim Critchley , 22nd Phil Elliot  Dick, 26th Sam Allin, 54th Simon Collins and 59th Barry Atkinson    were fifth overall out of 15 teams. ---West Yorkshire Cross Country League - Nunroyd Park , Wakefield. The Cross Country  season got underway at the pleasant Nunroyd Park, being early in the season there was none of the mud, rain or  wind normally associated with this  form of running. Results  Knavesmire's Ladies got off to a great start taking fourth place of the 12th competing teams. --YDRRL 'Summer' League Race #1 - Pocklington. The 'Summer' league got off to a great start, with 100 members of York Knavesmire Harriers taking part on Tuesday evening, A nasty cloud burst before the start was somewhat ominous , but it was soon gone and conditions for the race were good , maybe a little too chilly , but a good tailwind on the way back into Pocklington.
