The Cross Country season got underway at the pleasant Nunroyd Park, being early in the season there was none of the mud, rain or wind normally associated with this form of running. --YDRRL 'Summer' League Race #1 - Pocklington. The 'Summer' league got off to a great start, with 100 members of York Knavesmire Harriers taking part on Tuesday evening, A nasty cloud burst before the start was somewhat ominous , but it was soon gone and conditions for the race were good , maybe a little too chilly , but a good tailwind on the way back into Pocklington.
